I’ve been playing with chatGPT and I asked it to write a sequel to Die Hard. While it only gave me an outline I have to admit the results were pretty good.
Die Harder
Synopsis:
It’s been ten years since John McClane (Bruce Willis) thwarted a terrorist attack on Nakatomi Plaza. He has since retired from the police force and is living a peaceful life with his wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) and their two children. However, when a group of highly trained mercenaries descend on New York City, threatening to unleash a deadly virus unless their demands are met, McClane is called back into action.
As the mercenaries take over a high-rise building and hold the occupants hostage, McClane teams up with a young and ambitious detective named Sarah (Emilia Clarke). Together, they must fight their way through the building and take down the mercenaries before it’s too late. But as they get closer to the truth, they realize that the real threat is closer to home than they ever could have imagined.
Act 1: John and Holly are enjoying their retirement when they receive a call from Sarah, who is investigating a series of mysterious attacks in the city. John is hesitant to get involved, but Holly encourages him to help Sarah out.
Act 2: As John and Sarah investigate, they discover that the attacks are being carried out by a group of mercenaries who are demanding a large ransom in exchange for the virus they have created.
Act 3: The mercenaries take over a high-rise building and hold the occupants hostage, forcing John and Sarah to go undercover and fight their way through the building to take them down.
Act 4: As they get closer to the mercenaries’ leader, they realize that the real threat is someone they never could have suspected. With the help of Holly and their children, John and Sarah are able to defeat the mercenaries and save the day.
Act 5: In the aftermath of the attack, John and Holly decide to leave retirement behind and join forces with Sarah to form a team of vigilante heroes, dedicated to protecting the city from threats like these.
